Wine & Sunset at Fitapreta – Viva o Samba!
Fitapreta winery, near Évora, celebrates summer with a sunset dedicated to samba and the joy of living. An evening of Alentejo wines, live music by Roda do Viva o Samba and a DJ set by DJ Moreno.
On 22 August 2026, from 6:00 PM, Fitapreta opens the doors of the historic Paço do Morgado de Oliveira, around 10 km from Évora, for another edition of its acclaimed Wine & Sunset. This year's theme is samba, under the motto "Viva o Samba!", in a relaxed celebration of the Alentejo summer where wine, music and the sunset come together.
The musical programme features Roda do Viva o Samba, who promise to captivate the crowd with the warm, joyful rhythms of Brazilian samba, followed by a DJ set from DJ Moreno that carries the party into the night. All of this against the backdrop of the vineyards and the eco-efficient architecture of the winery, named Best Wine Tourism in Portugal at the 4th edition of the National Wine Tourism Award.
Visitors have the chance to taste the estate's wines, produced from traditional and revived Alentejo grape varieties, in an informal and festive atmosphere. The Paço do Morgado de Oliveira, founded in 1306, houses what is believed to be the oldest winery in Évora, making the experience even more unique for those looking to combine culture, history and wine tourism.
Located on the EM527 road at Km10, in Nossa Senhora da Graça do Divor, Fitapreta is easily accessible from Évora and less than 90 minutes from Lisbon, making it the perfect destination for a summer getaway. Booking tickets in advance and checking entry conditions is recommended, as the event tends to sell out.
