NOS Alive 2026

· Lisbon

Greater Lisbon's biggest summer festival returns to Passeio Marítimo de Algés from 9 to 11 July 2026. Three days of music with international headliners including Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, set on the riverfront.

NOS Alive is widely regarded as one of Europe's finest festivals and the defining summer music event in the Lisbon region. In 2026 it returns to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés in Oeiras on 9, 10 and 11 July, transforming the Tagus riverfront into a vast stage for music, culture and good times.

This edition's line-up once again confirms the festival's elite international status, bringing together names such as Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, alongside Lorde, Pixies, Wolf Alice, The War on Drugs, Teddy Swims, Matt Berninger, Jehnny Beth and the home-grown energy of Buraka Som Sistema. The mix of genres — from alternative rock and indie to electronic and pop — means there is something for every taste.

Beyond its multiple music stages, NOS Alive offers a complete experience, with food courts, chill-out areas and a relaxed riverside atmosphere that takes on a special glow at dusk. Its location, just a short train ride from central Lisbon (the Cascais line, Algés station), makes the festival especially easy to reach for both local and international visitors.

Tickets are available as single-day passes or full festival passes, with options that tend to sell out well in advance. Early purchase is recommended, as is arriving early to make the most of each day. The site usually opens in the late afternoon, with concerts running well into the night.

For anyone visiting Lisbon in July, NOS Alive is an unmissable chance to combine the best of world music with the vibrant atmosphere of a Lisbon summer. Public transport, comfortable shoes and plenty of time to explore all the stages are all advisable. It remains one of the highlights of the Portuguese cultural calendar.
