ARCA 2026 Festival in São Gregório

· Caldas da Rainha

The ARCA Festival transforms the village of São Gregório, in Caldas da Rainha, into a vibrant hub of art and community. Over ten days, the programme blends concerts, exhibitions, workshops, cinema, talks and gastronomic moments in a rural setting.

From 18 to 27 July 2026, the village of São Gregório, in Caldas da Rainha, hosts the ARCA Festival, a celebration of art and community organized by OSSO – Associação Cultural. Over the years, this initiative has transformed the rural space into a vibrant hub of creativity, now gaining a new identity and format under the name ARCA.

The programme brings together around twenty activities that cross different artistic languages, valuing the connection to the territory and local culture. Visitors can expect concerts, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, talks and gastronomic moments, in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere very different from large urban festivals.

More than a festival, ARCA is described by its organizers as a space for gathering, listening and collective creation, where creators, residents and visitors come together to share experiences. Its focus on closeness and sustainability makes this event a unique proposition in the Oeste region, ideal for those seeking authentic cultural tourism connected to nature.

For tourists visiting Caldas da Rainha, the festival is the perfect opportunity to discover the rural side of the municipality, meet local artists and artisans, and take part in activities for all ages. Its location in São Gregório makes it easy to combine the experience with exploring the area's natural heritage and traditions.

Daily access costs €5, through registration or by contacting [email protected]. Given the intimate nature of the event, those interested are advised to confirm the detailed programme in advance and secure their place in activities with limited capacity. An unmissable experience for anyone who values art, community and contact with the Portuguese countryside.
