Night of the Drums - Mirandela Festival 2026

The Night of the Drums (Noite dos Bombos) is one of the most emblematic and eagerly awaited moments of the Mirandela Festival, taking place on 31 July 2026 as part of the celebrations in honour of Our Lady of Amparo. This tradition transforms the heart of the Trás-os-Montes town into a true celebration stage, where the deep, vibrant sound of thousands of bass drums echoes through the streets all night long.

Drum groups from various towns across the region, played by Mirandela locals and visitors alike, come together in an impressive display of power, rhythm and popular tradition.
