FEI-TUR 2026 – Southwest Tourism Fair
FEI-TUR returns to Vila Nova de Milfontes from June 11 to 14, 2026, celebrating tourism, gastronomy and nature in southwest Alentejo. Under the motto "Natural is Better," the fair brings together outdoor activities, a local market, live music and culinary experiences along the Mira estuary.
From June 11 to 14, 2026, Vila Nova de Milfontes hosts another edition of FEI-TUR – the Southwest Tourism Fair, one of the leading tourism events on the Costa Vicentina. Organized by the Municipality of Odemira and the Alentejo Regional Tourism Entity, in collaboration with the Vila Nova de Milfontes Parish Council, the fair takes place along Avenida Marginal da Praia, with the Mira River estuary as a stunning backdrop.
Under the motto "Natural is Better," the 2026 edition offers four days of authentic discovery of the territory, in harmony with nature. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of water activities including surfing, stand-up paddle, foil, canoeing, kayaking, diving, boat tours and sport fishing. For those who prefer land-based experiences, there are guided hikes, mountain biking and bird watching in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
Gastronomy is one of the highlights of the event: cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, culinary workshops and regional product tastings allow visitors to discover the unique flavors of the southwest Alentejo. A local producers' market gathers cheeses, cured meats, bread, honey, convent-style sweets and award-winning olive oils from the region.
The musical program includes live concerts at sunset, beachside sundowner moments and children's entertainment for the whole family. Cultural programming also features traditional craft demonstrations, exhibitions and talks on environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.
With free admission, FEI-TUR is an ideal opportunity to discover the best of Vila Nova de Milfontes and the Odemira municipality, combining tradition, innovation and respect for the environment. Visitors will have access to comprehensive tourist information about accommodation, restaurants and activities to extend their stay in this remarkable corner of Portugal.
