The summer's most elegant festival returns to Cascais from 8 to 31 July 2026, with eight nights of open-air concerts at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo. The line-up brings together Gilberto Gil, David Byrne, Jamiroquai, Diana Krall, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters and Chet Faker.

The Ageas Cooljazz is one of the most anticipated festivals of the Portuguese summer and returns to Cascais from 8 to 31 July 2026. For its 2026 edition, the festival grows to eight nights of concerts, reinforcing the commitment to accessibility and sustainability that has made it a benchmark event.

The concerts take place at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, right in the heart of Cascais' museum quarter, just minutes from the sea. The intimate, open-air setting surrounded by nature makes Cooljazz a unique experience, where music meets the Atlantic landscape and the elegance of the town of Cascais.

The 2026 line-up is especially diverse, spanning jazz, soul, pop, Brazilian music, indie and electronica. The opening night on 8 July features the legendary Gilberto Gil, a central figure in Brazilian culture. He is followed by names such as David Byrne (14 July), presenting his new album "Who Is The Sky?", Loyle Carner (15 July), Jamiroquai (18 July), Diana Krall (22 July), Franz Ferdinand (25 July), Scissor Sisters (29 July) and Chet Faker, who closes the festival on 31 July.

For visitors spending the summer in the Lisbon region, Cooljazz is an unmissable chance to combine major international concerts with a beach day in Cascais or Estoril. Tickets include access to the venue and the concert of the chosen day, with prices starting from around €35 per day. Early booking is recommended, as many nights sell out.

More than a music festival, the Ageas Cooljazz is a summer ritual that brings generations together in one of the most beautiful settings on the Portuguese coast.
