10th Edition Run of Nazaré 2026
The iconic Run of Nazaré celebrates its 10th edition with 5 km and 10 km routes at the spectacular Estrelas de Portugal Circuit. A unique sporting event with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The 10th Edition of the Run of Nazaré takes place on June 13, 2026, marking a decade of this prestigious sporting event that combines athletic challenge with the stunning landscapes of the Nazaré coast. This special edition promises to bring together hundreds of national and international runners at the emblematic Estrelas de Portugal Circuit.
The event offers three modalities adapted to different fitness levels and ages: a 10 km race for the most competitive, a 5 km route ideal for recreational runners, and a 100-meter family walk/run that allows participation of children and families. This variety makes the event accessible to everyone.
The route passes through some of the most panoramic areas of Nazaré, offering athletes privileged views of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach and the iconic Sítio. Runners can enjoy the sea air while crossing historic streets and traversing the surroundings of the fishing village.
The Estrelas de Portugal Circuit, the starting and finishing point of the event, is a modern sports infrastructure located in the Nazaré area. Weather conditions in June in the coastal region are generally favorable, with mild morning temperatures ideal for sports.
The organization provides complete support to participants: hydration zones, medical assistance, athlete kit with commemorative t-shirt, and podium with prizes for the best classified in various categories. Participants also receive a commemorative finisher's medal for the 10th edition.
Registrations are open through the Racefinder portal. Early registration is recommended, as places are limited and the event has registered growing participation each year. After the race, participants can enjoy local gastronomy at the restaurants of Praia da Nazaré, known for fresh fish and traditional dishes such as caldeirada and seafood rice.
This is a perfect event to combine sport and tourism, discovering one of the most authentic villages on the Portuguese coast while participating in a race with history.
