Penafiel Racing Fest 2026
Portugal's largest motorsport festival returns to Penafiel on 12, 13 and 14 June 2026, with three days of pure adrenaline, concerts and free admission. Over 500 riders compete across six disciplines, from Rally to Drag Racing, in the heart of the city.
The Penafiel Racing Fest is one of Europe's most eclectic motorsport festivals and returns in 2026 for another unmissable edition on 12, 13 and 14 June. For three days, the centre of Penafiel turns into a true paradise for speed lovers, on two and four wheels, with top-level competitions, spectacular displays and entertainment for the whole family.
The 2026 sporting programme features six distinct disciplines: the Rally Taça Joaquim Santos, the Drag Racing Cavalum, the Trial 4x4 NorteX4 Ultra4, the Super-Enduro Nacional on an urban circuit, classic motorcycle races (50cc/85cc) and a Regularity Rally with historic vehicles. More than 500 national and international riders are expected, in a programme that combines high-level competition with pure spectacle.
Beyond the races, the event includes a Fun Zone, a food court with dozens of restaurants and food trucks, over 40 exhibitors from the automotive world, displays of classic and sports cars, and inclusive activities such as Racing 4All, Rally Kids and Street Basket 3x3.
Music is another major attraction: more than 30 hours of live entertainment, with concerts on Friday (10:00 PM) and Saturday (11:45 PM), plus DJ sets that keep the party going late into the night. Admission is completely free in all areas of the venue.
The festival takes place at Parque da Feira, in the centre of Penafiel, just 30 minutes from Porto via the A4 motorway (Exit 14). Free parking is available and there is direct access via CP's Douro Line, with Penafiel station just a few minutes' walk from the venue. It's a unique opportunity to combine a short break in the Sousa Valley with an experience full of engines, music and great food.
