Mário Viegas Exhibition: The Reciter and the Actor

From March 2nd to 29th, 2026, the Galeria Municipal João Bailote hosts a moving traveling exhibition dedicated to one of the most charismatic figures of 20th-century Portuguese culture: Mário Viegas. Organized by the LPV association in collaboration with the National Theatre Museum and the Municipality of Albufeira, this show marks the 40th anniversary of the April Revolution and the artistic legacy left by the actor.
